Hi Guys

After posting pictures of my new Extra 300s in its 150th Canadian Birthday suit Old Prairie Redneck suggest we all post our aircraft that have a splash of Canadian pride and that "True North Strong and Free" spirit to them.

So, here is a space to show off your flying machine with an obvious splash of Canada. From our flag to a full blown "Canada" covering job. Post it here if you like.

And, any interest in coordinating Canada Day Funflies across the country? Get those machines flying at the same time from coast to coast?

Repost - but just had to

Attached are photos before and after the test flight of my 150th Canadian Anniversary project. This Great Planes Extra 300s weighs 6lbs 9oz empty and the 6s 5000ma battery adds 1lb 3 oz. She is Powered by a Leopard motor and a 100amp speed controller. A Lemon RC stabilization and receiver system are on board. The servos are basic Hitec carbonite variety. The radio is a Dx9 from Spektum. I built it over a 6 month period, working on it occasionally between other commitments. I made all the decals.

I had hoped to get the test flight in on New Year’s Day but the rain would not stop so she had her first two flight Jan 2 2017. It flies really well and required zero trimming, which is always a nice surprise when it happens (rarely for me )

I painted my little Habu to look something like a T33.
Also in the middle of painting an F86 Sabre like the Golden Hawks version.
