The Marco Polo is an aircraft finder that is not a GPS locator, so is suitable
for seeking lost aircraft
within a two-mile radius, which is the optimal distance with no obstructions.
The transmitter uses the unlicensed
900 MHz ISM radio frequency band, for which there are no special user requirements.
This radio frequency band can
penetrate brick and concrete walls with no problem, and the device analyzes the
signals from all directions over
1,000 times per second.

The Marco Polo pet tracking device works anywhere because it is not a GPS
tracking device, and it does not require a cell phone network to operate.
The kit includes a plug-in charger for thetransmitter and the locator,
which uses rechargeable lithium
ion batteries. The battery inthe transmitter lasts up to 90 days with
continuous monitoring; there is also
a low-battery alert

The handheld locator is easy to set up and turn on, and when you want to search
for your aircraft you only need to press
a single button to begin. The locator shows you the distance your aircraft
is away from you and has a directional
indicator so that you know which way to go. It is accurate within inches.
