Re: batteries pack size ?

Most people run 4000-5000mah 2s packs in 1/10th scale vehicles, they're roughly the same size as a nicad/nimh pack.

Re: batteries pack size ?

What max current draw does your ESC pull?
Power wise... Use the following calc for the lipo battery;
Battery mah ÷ 1000 × C value = max current output
(Example 5000mah ÷ 1000 × 20C = 100A)

The battery max output should be equal to or greater then the ESC max draw.

Re: batteries pack size ?

What are you doing with your AX10 ,are you comp crawling or do you have it setup for trail running. In our comp AX10 we run 900 mah 3s lipos and also in the Berg and XR10 . You are running 2s so it will need a larger pack for the same run time but a 1300 to 2000mah would get you through a full comp easily. As you see it is a question we cannot answer properly without knowing what you do with the rig. A 5000 mah pack up top will make your friends happy if you comp with it as you will never be a threat to win !! Ha Ha

If this was referencing my post, I only used it as an example as it was easy math and I was too lazy to think beyond easy math.
You would want about 80C to run 100A from a 1300mah battery. Use the above calc for what ever draw is actually needed to meet.

5000mah is s huge battery (physical size).
