ar7600 setup

just pur an ar7600 and wanted to bench test it. have 821 servos no issue hooking up. bind plug good to go. battery connection has me stumped. on the rx side the function of the pin groups is indicated. above the bind pin group it shows THRO and - +and a square wave. according to the pics on line this is were the bat is connected. if so how can it also power the thro. does this also indicate the outside pin is - and the center pin + and this is how the bat should be connected. if the connection is reversed can the rx be damaged. my battery is a normal red and blk wire combo. again the pics show a 3 wire combo. is this specific to electric.
cheers
jim

Re: ar7600 setup

You will see eight groups of three pins, first set of three pins is for the battery/bind plug, second group is for the throttle etc. Just follow the labeling above the pins for their functions.

If you reverse the + and - the rx will not turn on.

Re: ar7600 setup

OK, so here's the easy answer. It DOES NOT MATTER which channel the battery gets plugged in to. Period. BUT, if you do need to use all channels in the RX, you must plug the battery in to one of the 'channels' when binding, or use a 'y' adapter. Once binding has been completed, you can then swap the battery back to the BIND pins

Here's a link to the Manual

Hope this helps

Re: ar7600 setup

annother trick to use with the spectrum rec's is use a bit of robart air line cut just a bit longer than the antena and slip over the wire antena. It fit just snugly over the antena base and stays there to protect the antena.
