IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!

Time to start planning the 2015 Season

So I am going to list Events I know about and I would like everyone in Canada involved in SA, planing to or having already set a date for their
Event/Contest to post them and then I will update this first post as they come in so the info will always be on the front page.

Events should include things like Boot Camps, Primers, Judging Seminars, Test & Tunes....... Contests are Sanctioned Contest by MAAC/IMAC.

Since Ontario is part of the the North Central Region (NCFR) of IMAC I'll include contests from our brothers to the south.

I'm leaving the 2014 dates from Contest & Events and will update them as they come in.

Jim - thanks for launching this. I am wondering if it is worth it to also include the Michigan and Ohio contests as they become known just so we see any potential conflicts. For many of us these US contests are valuable experience and we need to factor them into planning. Some of them are virtually mandatory attendance (i.e. Jackson - Mid Michigan) because of long standing relationships.

I can email our US colleagues and check on their initial planning or thinking for next year. We could then get tentative dates on the calendar and see how things shake out.

Not trying to complicate your efforts, but many of us want to try and support Canadian and US contests and it becomes a balancing act. Happened this past year with Keswick and the Nats Warm Up in Ohio.

I have sent an email to Ron and Mike to see if they have tentative dates.

Dave Walter in Saranac told me last weekend they are aiming for the same date in June for their June contest. Based on last year that means Saranac will be June 6 / 7. As Don, Glen, Paul, Steve and Domenic will attest to, Saranac was a great field and contest. Worth considering.

Mike Roxberry told me this AM that he is looking to move Mid Michigan back into June but needs to avoid Saranac and Ron Graham needs to determine when he will do the Nats Warm Up. June could get busy !!

The NOIC will be in Sault Ste Marie this year. They hope to attract lots of Michigan folks. Craig Knight will be CD and I'll be in Florence!

Great work at getting this together already Jim and Bill. Even though the NOIC will be in the Soo, we are kicking around the idea of something in Sudbury as well. Not sure where or how big at this point but we will keep you posted. (We know how much you all love Dog House after all )
