Not sure what's going on, there's plenty of movement.

Re: I put wing warping on my Cub

So it doesn't bank at all?

Re: I put wing warping on my Cub

You would need to reduce the wing dihedral for wing warping to have a better effect.

I hate to repeat myself but...

Did it not bank the plane?

No movement when the wing warping is deflected, but there is a lot more action when rudder is added.

Re: I put wing warping on my Cub

That is odd!

Anytime I have had an unintentionally warped wing it banks like a bugger!

I tried it again yesterday, very little left and no right, I was up alone so I could here the servos move, so I know there not locking up under any wing loading.

Thinking years back I put ailerons on my GWS Cub and if anything they acted
backwards.

I believe it's something about the under camber.

Re: I put wing warping on my Cub

I'm leaning more toward the speed of the plane. I know strip ailerons become very ineffective just before touch down which is one of the reasons we use rudder on landing.

Can you trim it to fly a bit faster and give it another try?

Cubs can be lazy with ailerons only, even with their normal airfoil.
Using some rudder is a must.
I will try flying it faster.
Thinking back now I had a gws Piper Cub foamie, it had the under camber airfoil, I modified it to have ailerons it actually made it worse if anything it acted backwards.
