I didn't get a mile down the road and man was the rain coming down hard.. I hope Don and Kurt got there stuff away before it hit

Sure was good to see some old friends Bob and I have been flying with for along time there also

Hey Randy - well you saw the Basic guys give-er in the winds that preceded the rain
and the advanced guys weren't about to be shown up by a couple of newbie, so they flew also -

we saw it coming and everyone managed to get everything put away before it hit.

the judges on our line suggested we teach them to land though

what a great time - really big

it was great to actually meet a few of the regulars here

And I took Third in Basic with the smallest plane there

I could only make it on Saturday, but it was well worth it! What a great bunch of guys!
Even though my placing was not great, (last-Sportsman) I don't regret moving up a class, as I found the Sportsman sequence fun and VERY challanging!

Thanks to Don and Norm for putting on a great event!
Sorry I could not stay for the party, or make it back Sunday! Sound like I missed some fun! (Next year for sure)

I was trying ot upload another shot of the flight line, but it wouldn't upload for some reason
first the file was too big, then I couldn't connect to the remote directory
then it was time to

then I gave up
