Re: GREAT JOB-Sosaw 2009

Ditto, it was obviously a tremendous amount of work to get this organized and the presenters did an excellent job with some tough subjects. Thanks very much to Jim, Rick, Guillaume, Don, and Ted for their efforts. It was great to see everyone after a long winter.

For the new guys who came out, don't let the complexity of judging criteria scare you away. Come out and give it a try, you won't regret it. You will get lets of support and help from the guys, and make a lot of new friends. The toughest thing you have to do is to get your plane out of the car the first time.

I'd like to thank Rick, Don, Gume and Ted for making this a sucess. Rick , as I am sure the rest did, spent a huge amount of time praparing for this.

I would also like to thank all of you for comming out and attending this seminar. It was good to see everyone again and to meet new friends. Special thanks to all you long distance travellers: The Northern Boyz; the Ottawa clan; Gume's gang; the Road Warriors from Chatham and a very special thanks to Chris Hammond all the way from Edmonton.

It was nice to see many new face who I hope we will see at the Stratford Test and Tune in May and on the circuit this summer.

Re: GREAT JOB-Sosaw 2009

Hi Fellow Modellers, especially all those that attended the obove Seminar.
From all the Boy's from the Cambrian Club, all 6 of us, I know that I am speaking for all, when I say, That it was a fabulous day of , Learning , Fun , Great cameradarie, with a slendid lunch, and many extras too numerous to mention. Plus a great meal with all the boy's at "Kelsey's" at suppertime. Boy, we had some great laughs there too.
Our hat's are off to jimmy "Yakoff" for organizing a splendid day of events.
I know he was not alone, He and all the others that made the day so pleasant and very informative , deserve the best of accolades to be given. You all put forth your best Foot
and carried off a difficult task, and made it look so easy, from where we sat and enjoyed
it all.
Many thank's again , from all of us. It was great to be with so many old friends again.
Keep up the good work Boy's,. you can count on our support for the next seminar too, we enjoyed it so much.
Take care. "D.B' and the Cambrian Sky Jockey's.

For the newbie’s: I know you were overwhelmed with information, and I'm sure lots of it didn't make any sense to you… especially if you have never flown/been to an IMAC contest. Some of the rules in IMAC are much like the laws of the land. They can be complicated, and at times difficult to define, although for the most part they usually do work. It's not as bad as it sounded. With a little experience, all you heard will make sense. This seminar was not geared for the beginner, but more so for the experienced IMAC'r. The IMAC primer that is being held in Stratford will be a much better experience for the newbie, in that it's allot easier to see/understand things when you are actually flying the maneuver and a more experienced pilot is standing next to you, critiquing what you are doing.

I just wanted to throw this out to guys who have never flown IMAC.

Jim, Rick, Guuume, Donny, Ted, and everyone else, you guys did a great job. It was great seeing everyone. I'm looking forward to the first contest!

Sam

It all made sense right up until Yakov said "welcome". JK, great info and dialogue all around.
I will be sure to keep my thumbs in my pockets to avoid the "Nancy Kerrigan maneuver". Looking forward to the primer
