Possibly biased savage owner here. My input:

I only know of the two most common monster trucks, but that being said, do you really want to buy something thats hard to find parts and support for???

1.) TMAXX
2.) Savage 25/SS

If you want the toughest bashing truck there is, I'd say go Savage. If you want a tough truck, but a better racer, then go TMAXX.

Now...if you want a bit of the best of both worlds, get a Savage SS [build it yourself kit] instead of the RTR Savage 25. Its got a better engine and some nice upgrades out of the box. I wish I knew more about the TMAXX so I could give u better feedback, but its a better racing truck outta the box. Personally, I see myself bashing about 10x more than racing. Its just too easy to hit a field, or anywhere for that matter that it is to enter a race.

Revo, tmaxx or Savage??

I have a Revo a Tmaxx and a Savage. The Revo is fast and very very close in durability to the Savage. the tmaxx is nice for light bashing in stock mode, the Savage is great for hard core bashing and the Revo is great for both. Revo parts are not as easy to get as savage or Tmaxx parts, but I am sure they will be soon. The Tmaxx is a great little truck. Just get the RPM arms and the RPM bulk head brace and its a very tuff truck that can take a good bashing. If you have any intentions to race than go with the Revo and defenetly not the Savage. The above is just my opinion and that all. pm me if you want any more info..always happy to help.
