Wow. Seeing all these post with vintage cars and pictures from the mid 80's to the early 90's brings me back to when I started RC. I was 9 yrs old when I got my first RC Kyosho Rocky from the hobby store that use to be inside Scarborough Town Center back in 84. Picked up my Tamiya Hornet in 85 and then my favorite car of all time my Kyosho Ultima in 86 ( Joel Johnson 88 Ifmar world champ ) from the hobby store that use to be in Markville Mall. I guess that why I drive a Baja 5b now since it was designed by the same person. I have had many cars since but its nice to see where it all started for us and myself.

Trying to name the manufacture who produced the 1/8 nitro buggy Pirate.
Anyone? Just keeps coming up in my head after all these years. Circa 91 ?

Ofna retailed the Pirate, I believe it was a HOBAO product, I had the Super Pirate M1.

The Pirate was made by OFNA, they're still in business.
