Hi Guys,

What we need now is a B777-300ER . I would love to do that but what a big job from scratch ! I'm going to start flying them next year and it sure would be cool to model it !

Hi Wil ,

It would be great to see construction photos . The more I look at the 777 and your airplane the better I like the idea . There are certain things that can be simplified, such as the flaps and slat , so that it really isn't that complicated . I need to finish up a few more projects first but i might just.....

I got now a new friend that will help me in making my web site, she knows well in site construction
Anyway, I will update my site during the construction of the KC 10 and the other A330-300 I will start to build at the end of September
On September 26th, I will receive the styro parts
Fiberglass parts are already at my home, so I will try to show a maximum of pics, in the way to help the ones that hesitate toi buid an Airliners thinking it is too difficult ( wrong way to think )

other point is the meeting I had last week end

here is an other video of my Liner flying in a meeting in the north of France in Beugin ( dep 62 )
The french TV channel made a repport in the daily news, and you can see it at this adress : http://jt.france3.fr/regions/popup.p...video_number=3
Just go to 11min 20 sec from the beguining to see the repport about this meeting

Lights

Willfrance, you have an amazing jet, best I've ever seen. I would like to know what type of navigation and strobe lights you are using?

Thanks

Angus

Sorry, I forget to say that the repport on the TV is for Saturday August 19th

For the moment, I use 6V 6W halogen lamp, and I use paint for glass on it to make them in red or green color

With the heat of the lamp, the paint is getting black after some hours of use

So I will use LUXEON Led's very soon

Strob lights are made with alarm 12V strobs that I have modified to flash when the strob receive the pulse from a Micro processor ( PIC 16F84 )
On my web site, you can find the squetch of the trigger system
http://www.mes-avions-rc.net/FRAIFE1.htm

it is in French, but in a close future, I will organize better my site, with a translation in English

I have also the squetch ot the PIC board that I can send you by private mail

The strob tube ( Xenon ) are replaces by tube from 1 use cameras, because they are shorter, easier to place in the plane
Take car, it generate 350 V and the pulse on the tube is 4000 V

Hi Will,

I like the new website but I would love to see lots of detailed construction photos . I'm getting more interested in building the 777-300ER . Don't know when I'll start but I'm going to start gathering info . I'm sure I'll be able to get good info when I go on course in Seattle in May . Also , while I'm at work I'll be able to get a lot of good detail pictures and measurements . One of the most important things is to get the nose right . So many scale airplanes get the nose wrong and it spoils the whole model .
