If your talking about me, I have been a MAAC member since the day after I bought my first plane. Know where to find the MAAC MAPs (If I need clarification) and probably flown at more MAAC clubs than the average long term MAAC member.

I am NOT looking for concessions for my flying site, I am looking for some common sense from a Federal Minister who doesn't realize there is something West of Quebec! Unlike a lot of MAAC members, I OWN a fair chunk of real-estate, I might have 1 plane a year fly by at less than a thousand feet. I'm the problem, I put the general public at risk? So I grouped in the trouble maker category. That's fine, but I haven't broken a law since the interm regs have come down.



Gonewiththewind may of had a headache this morning, some are pondering their next move. Little gut wrenching to contemplate selling the flock of planes when you finally know that less is more, and you have them for more than a few flights....

Signing off commenting of the plight of others on this matter. Each and every RC pilot will have to decide what to do under the new laws. I don't recommend going underground, that's where rookies fly!

I think you are really making a mountain out of a molehill here.

TC s not going to confiscate your fleet. Just think calmly and logically for a bit. I know we are all upset and a bit in shock over this whole thing. It's a kick in the nads for sure over a few rotten eggs.

It's a very interesting quote and shows why Douglas Bader was a brilliant tactician and warrior. There has been so many times during my 30 year career in the military that I had to bend rules or break them to get the mission done. Many times I had to ask my boss to go for a walk or get the boys some coffee . The good ones understood and disappeared.

BS! There are plenty that are fully aware of all the rules/laws but think they are better or smarter than everyone else or the authorities so they just do as they please. The rules have changed now, I keep my camera phone charged he he
