I visited him on the way home from work. Sounds like he will be building a strip next year. I will definitely be stopping in when travelling for work. I just got caught up on this thread. Man lots of reading. Derik managed to talk me out of my mvvs 116. That engine is a stump puller. Turns a zoar30-10 without breaking a sweat.

Question... how does everybody set-up their CG on planes?

examples
a) follow the Mfg recommendation?
b) slight push of the stick on 45 deg inverted upline?
c) hands off on 45deg inverted upline?
d) hands off on inverted level flight?
e) don't care

Just curious!!

Most planes I fly I aim for hands off inverted flight. Then I tweak according to what knife edge wants.
I always end up a tiny bit behind the wing tube
