The unknown. Coupled with the known, and availability of RE3's helped me get a set for my upcoming ZDZ180. No delivery date yet on the large smooth pipes.
Lorne, are you going to install a set in your 126" Slick?
I for one would like to see them perform. I'm sure they will be everything or more than what is on the market today.
-Dale-
I am installing them on my slick. Dave and I are sending a set that will go to trev for testing and then probably end up in my slick unless trevor can't let go of them LOL

I am putting in my order tomorrow for 10 large smooth pipes. hope to see them in 4 to 8 weeks

Dale asking me why I did somthing 10 weeks ago, 10 weeks later? SERIOUSLY?

I don't know what you are talking about? How could you be watching me erase photos from a active post? Were the photos inappropriate for a site where kids are?

LOL!! we'll see! If they fair out anything like Planebender's initial testing yesterday, it'll take some serious prying to free them from my grip

I even elongated the exit holes on my Carden build / MVVS190 to accommodate the shorter (and lighter) Smoothpipes in case they prove to beat up on the RE3's

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Shorter and lighter eh ??? That will be a huge bonus if the pipes perform well.
I also noticed in the dimensions Lorne posted, that the stinger outlet is 3/4 inch.
That's huge on a tuned pipe for our engines.
Can't wait to hear what they sound like
