What Jump?

Look closely, he was standing on the plane. They really are built both light and strong.

As for the zoom issue Lee, just fly slower and closer so I can follow the plane.

You do realize that that flight now has me itching for a new plane for next year don't you?

Trevor - it is a good field and I enjoy flying there. I had to laugh at the comment a bit because a few of the guys can tell you about how dense the bush is on the east side of the field. Just like Cambodian jungle ! Ask Eric, Dennis and Gaston about not getting into trouble. However the hospitality is always second to none and who else has bears running back and forth across then runway. Yup, I have seen them several times.

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

So probably thirty or so flights in and I had my engine die on takeoff last week. Landed no problem but did crack a wheelpant when it hit a pothole and did a quick stop.
I meant to pull the cowl and do a quick check about twenty flights in, but I was having too much fun (should know better at this stage).
Anyway yesterday I pulled the cowl at the field and lo and behold, one plug was loose and the other I could unscrew with my hand! I went over everything and all was good...had the best practices yet. So word of caution...check, check and recheck on a new plane until the gremlins show themselves. Usually loose bolts, design issues, weaknesses will show within the first fifty flights and regular maintenance is a must for reliability and longevity.

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Btw the shorty ailerons are very effective and the super light wings make everything stop on a dime. The 8 point is a non issue and I'm still dialing down on the snaps. This plane is a dream to fly and can make anyone look good..even me

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Congrats Lee!!!

Totally agree about the regular maintenance, especially on a new plane... As hard as we try, there are always little gremlins!!

Also... On my 126" Edge, I have a function set on e 14MZ where I can lock the inner split ailerons and fly with just the outters functioning... For IMAC and sport flying, using just the outer ailerons gives a way smoother look and feel to the flying performance...I see why the IMAC Boyz like it soo much!!!

Got something special for father's day and tried it out last weekend. Ordered from Eric at Planewrappers (B&E Graphics). It's all about the bling baby!
