Senior Telemaster (8') color scheme
Hello, I have a friend that needs help deciding on a color for his 8' Beaver. Ha-ha.
I too have an 8' Telemaster, and about 30+ rolls of covering here. Over the winter I plan on covering it for the oldest, then the other two Grandsons. As they start to come flying with me. So how about some idea's. No guarantee's I will use any of them. But rest assured we can all get some idea's. Of what does/might work, and what has proven problematic for those just learning. -Dale- . 100% free webcam site! | Awesome chicks and it is absolutely free! | Watch free live sex cam - easy as 1-2-3

Re: Senior Telemaster (8') color scheme
Watching with interest as I am constantly thinking of what scheme to use on my 7' AMR Trainer 26.
Here's the scheme I used on my Hobbistar 60 wing after the rebuild - mostly to match the colours already present though I do like the white and blue. Bottom: Top: |

Re: Senior Telemaster (8') color scheme
John (grosbeck), my favorite bottom. From my competitive glider day's. Big Piano key's on the bottom. Only 2 per side 8-12 inches is great. Most people get contrasting stripes to narrow. As for the top. Same dark color (of choice) leading edge to top of spar spanwise. Then any other details. As for colors, the dark can be dark red, blue, green, etc. Surprisingly black is not the best color for the dark contrast (must be to shiny). Usually white, or a cream for the majority, or base color.
I will find some photo's in time. As for colors, I have a lot to chose from. Most likely Cream/Green. Alternate White/Blue. Oh of note Yellow/Red are usually poor choices they blend together at distance become a dark grey, say charcoal-ish. Hope this helps. But let's hear from others there is a pile of experience here on R/C Canada. -Dale- . 100% free webcam site! | Awesome chicks and it is absolutely free! | Watch free live sex cam - easy as 1-2-3

Re: Senior Telemaster (8') color scheme
My 2 favorites are white with black and red trim or white with black and yellow trim.

Re: Senior Telemaster (8') color scheme
Dale, I agree with stripes on the leading edge. This is my SBach before LE stripes.
On cloudy days when turning with the canopy towards me the wing would just about disappear. Adding these stripes to the upper LE made all the difference. |

Re: Senior Telemaster (8') color scheme
Large yellow and black checkers work great but the H9 Tango has mainly white on the top and bright orange with blue stripes on the bottom ( sticks out like a sore a** )
