Not a jet I've seen in person, but would love to see yours built and flown, keep us posted.

My foray into EDF so far is a fibreglas H.E.T. Super Sniper https://www.rccanada.ca/bb/viewtopic....ghlight=sniper and a balsa Alfa Jet that's not built yet.

Its a blast flying these slippery planes, just keep in mind that there's no prop drag for your landing approach or prop wash over the control surfaces at low airspeeds.

Thanks and I'll let you know what I think of it.Done some jet stuff before so aware of prop wash or should I say lack of prop wash over control surfaces.Thought that this would make for a nice little jet to blast around with with little work.I have a few large gas planes to build and its a nice change at times to just put it together and fly.I do love to build but sometimes projects can take a few years to complete.John

Well after a little fix it was off to the field tonight and I must say I was rather please with the results. One 5 min flight with sum up trim but it was rock solid after I trimmed it out.Fast little plane and lands well it was a little breezy but it did what I ask of it just wish I had rudder for it as slow rolls would then look maybe somewhat like they should.Happy YES!

John,

You can refuse delivery with UPS if the parcel is damaged.. That way the shipper has to make the claim not you.

Keep that in mind next time.

Glad to hear it worked out ok though!

Thanks Jim but he was standing right there and asked me to open it up in front of him(ups guy) which I did and there for all to see was a damaged wing panel.I guess it's not as bad as it could of been but still it was damaged and I did have to open up the bottom of the wing to repair it.Live and learn I guess.John

mine

Picked one up last week from a friend, he had two. put the hacker engine they recomend in it and it flies beautifully. I will be flying it a the Kitchener scale rally Sunday. Like you I will be putting rudder on it. It took longer to put on the decals than it took to build! Very nice plane to fly no bad habbits stalls are very predictable and with a 1600 3 cell lipo I get two 15 min flights.

I saw a real Sabre fly at the exhibition airshow this year. It flew in formation with an F-15 Eagle and the F-16 Falcon. It also flew solo and the pilot had right down on the deck. Easily as low as the propeller aircraft in the show. It was really something to see. The F-104 Starfighter was there also, but, it doesn't turn like the modern jets. All in all a good show......... Hey Jeff will it tow a streamer?????
