Congrats!!!! My flash also does the 360 spin when applying the brakes. Once I slid it sideways and both strut pins broke from the side load. Now I am a little easier on the brakes.

Actually Andrew I spooled up very slowly to full throttle and was amazed at how it just leaped off the strip. All up weight UAT full main and wing tank empty is 21.24 lbs with a Wren 120 setup for 28 lbs but I am also at sea level so that may make a difference. I still have a non windy day maiden to do as well because I never had full flaps deployed due to the high winds. Can't wait till I am 5 or so flights in, than I can start having some fun

LOL... it's funny you mention that as I edited the actuall vid because right where it ends off is the beginning of the power slide!!!!.
I thought that was a on/off brake valve? I didn't think it was proportional.....

Re: Well it's getting shipped on Monday.TEST FLOWN VIDEO

To get rid of the skidding, you need to check your brake lines and make sure they are identical lengths. If they are the same then you could use a control valve to regulate the flow on the side that is locking up. Peter at altecare has a festo control valve used for this purpose.

Jeremy I was thinking about that yesturday as well and it makes perfect sence because the right wheel is the one that locks the most and that is the side that has about 4" less of hose. I am going to make that right and use a little less brake.

Cheers Paul
