Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

Hi,

Something weird must be going on, after a couple of dozen orders (problem-free); my recent order (no lipos-no B/Os) it has never left the warehouse since the 11th? Wrote X3 and always say give it another 24-48 Hrs.

Anyone else…

Fortunately for me all my orders are in hand, but until this thread (or ones like it) indicate a return to "normal" I will hold off ordering anything more.

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

This is why when Dave first wanted to start ---------- i told him, stock the items. Don't be like other shops / places not holding inventory. Problem is, inventory is money and you cant stock everything people want.

So he does special orders every sunday night and product arrives thursday / friday and slowly is building inventory.

No I think it is Cheap, Speedy, Good service pick 2 or less. HK offers Cheap but that one seems to count for 2, the LHS can only offer Speedy and good service... It is why I have used my LHS and hobby king.

Sigh, another day goes by, another HK agent tells me to wait 24 to 48 hours...

Same here, although I got tired of waiting for the response from Daisy this time. Over ten minutes went after she asked for the order #. I closed the window.

I had originally placed the order and paid via Visa Debit. My first name is associated with the card. I go by my middle name (since forever) and they said they could not process the order because names did not match on the card. Trouble is, the payment already did according to my bank account. So they wanted me to scan my card and a bank statement to prove it was mine. Treated me like the criminal. Cancelled the order and re-ordered paying with paypal this time. Guess what? 4-6 weeks until I'm supposed get the Visa refund. Funny thing is, I've had a charge reversed in less than an hour elsewhere.

Somethin' fishy is goin' on and it smells like somethin' else. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, well I'm an idiot now.

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

Interesting, I got a message from HK, they want to know if I want the order without the batteries or to cancel the whole thing! They asked if I could place the order from the USA warehouse for the batteries? Looks like getting lipo's from the HK international warehouse is over! I then chatted and they said they are working on it but cannot say if/when they can ship lipo's again...

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

I'd be fine with my order without the batts....'Daisy' never gave me that option the other day. My order placed a week later has shipped no problem. Maybe I'll see if they'll go that route.
Cheers

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

So if Hobby King is no longer able to ship lipos why dont they put this info on there site or in the check out
I just tried to see what would happen if I logged in to my HK account and ordered lipos
Well I got through the check out to where it give the shipping option for the batteries and all shipping options are still available
Needless to say i did not proceed any farther with the checkout process
So why would HK not stop an order for lipo batteries in the checkout?
If I did not know what was going on they would take my money then Id be waiting for ever for a shipment that would never arrive
Poor customer service Hobby King
