Since the purchase of the Walbro my EME runs great (bad bearing rattle though) and has the best power of any 30cc I've had..........but it still has a date!!
ROTFL!!! Okay - go shiny or go home I think Brad has an EME35 en route so I'll be eager to see how it works and then will decide if the extra bling warrants my coin!!!

This class sure is putting out some great power!! Not far off DA50 territory now!!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

That is what I was thinking, these engines are extremely close to the old DA50 in power. I remember my first DL50's would turn a Xoar 22x8 around 68-6900. Just for kicks when I get the 35 broke in I am going to see how it turns a Xoar 22x8 just to compare.

Well week one and a half done in Europe. Amsterdam was a blast, the cruse has been super cool, seen sooooooo much. Cathedral in Cologne was something to see. The cruse is almost over now, and we will be spending another week in Switzerland, I will postup some pics when we get home.

Cheers
Derrick

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Well The little DA is boxed up, paperwork printed and filled in and at the Post Orifice! Any tricks to get this thing back (assuming its commin' back) North of the 49th without a hassle?

Heard some horror stories about things coming back from Warrantee work...... Wonderful folks at Canada Customs......

EDIT: Double checked with DA before I boxed it up, guy told me that the engines near to my S/N had con-rod issues as well as the vacuum tube issue....

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Hi Brent,

Good move, sending it back. The people at DA will have it back to you in no time, probably at no cost. No trouble getting it back over the border, as long as the people at DA put "Warranty repairs" on the paperwork. It'll be like buying a new engine!

Regards,

Dennis

Brodie, you have an EME35. You could find out yourself. Then report back, for all to see.
