So you bought those parts!!!, i wanted the canopy, if you are looking for plans Bod Godfrey makes a 42% that you could probably enlarge slightly and make work.

If I have to, I will do that, Bill. But I think I can rebuild the fuse-front/engine box if I can just get all the measurements, and draw up a plan. The tailfeathers and the back half of the fuse are fine though.
A couple of the wing panels may need to be replaced as well, we'll see. The landing gear are fine as well.
Wing-panels are about $200/ea US, and the fuse is on sale for $600 US, I will try to avoid having to buy a new fuse, not sure if I can yet..
If I can re-build this airframe for under $1000 total, I will be very happy.

that sounds like a fun project ron! You may need a new car to go with it though that plane is huge

No I mean length wise isn't the fuse to big? I didn't think one of these would even fit in my moms van. Still an awesome plane hope you get it flying!

Chris: it's about 95" with the tailfeathers off, but with them off it will easily fit between the seats.
I'm thinking about a trailer or a van for next year anyway, so it shouldn't matter.
