Clubs in and around Wasaga Beach, Ontario

Just managed to get a near-beach cottage (Beach 5-6, 300 yards of the beach and nowhere near the strip).

Of course, I'm now thinking "perfect place to fly in the morning with an AIrHog or something simple...."

Yes, I know all the arguments against that sort of activity (heck! I've done some of the arguing against doing that in parks and such...)

So, since I'm up there for the week, I might get a day or two to go flying if I'm really, realy lucky.

What's nearby?

Re: Clubs in and around Wasaga Beach, Ontario

Hi Byrocat ; You are minutes from the Edenvale R/C A/C Club.

Check our web site at www.edenvaleflyers.ca for directions.

It is at Hwy#26 and the 12/13th side road. There are a couple of big BLUE silos there. It is just east of the intersection of Hwy#26 and County RD 10 , locally known as Sunnydale Corners.

Turn down the 12/13th then a few metres turn left to the gate.

You will see our signs there. Then continue south straight down the old runway past the bunker to our shelters etc. After unloading your models you should park on the east side of the pavement. NO flying north of the bunker. Also we are at an active airport so watch for full size A/C.

Most of the guys fly in the morning and a couple in the evening.
