Cloud Dancer 120

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has the build article from RCM Magazine for the Cloud Dancer 120 (I think it was January '96).

I'm thinking of going big next year but I want something original and that plane looks pretty sweet. I just want to read the article over before commiting to it.

Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Marc

I have the 73 inch version.....disguised as a russian Yak It is very fast and clean, flies very well. I enlarged the rudder and stab a little. The 120 version should be a good choice.

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!

What kind of engine do you have in there? How difficult was the build?

Some more info at this address;

http://www.members.shaw.ca/mcdougall...For%20Sale.htm

The power is Saito 80. It has bags of performance.....unlimited vertical. The airframe is very lightly built. A lot of contest grade balsa and some carbon. It is a very nice wing.....about the same wing as a DH Chipmunk also much like the Caos wing. Its for sale if you are interested, I have to raise some money for my next project.

Thanks Don.....I have seen the article. I think it would be a great project. I did not like the looks of the pointy tailfeathers but of course this can easily be changed.

You know what? The pointy tail is what drew me to the plane. It also seems to be a very thin fusem kind of like a giant pattern plane.

What do you guys think of throwing a gas engine on the front? It seems big enough at 86 inches.
