The 120SR is about an inch shorter than a Hirobo Quark. |

Re: Bigger Eflite Blade SR
The Blade SR is a different heli unto itself. The 120 SR is only by name. It is not bigger than the SR.
Lengths .................... MSR ................. 7.5" 120SR ............... 12.5" SR .................... 19.1" |

Re: Bigger Eflite Blade SR
Actually, my point was it is a bigger SR.
SR simply stands for single rotor, in this case (MSR = mini single rotor) So, the new SR120 is a bigger SR (single rotor!). |

Re: Bigger Eflite Blade SR
If you're going to use that sort of naming convention, you should qualify it as a bigger mSR since they already have a heli called the SR.

We can come up with "pet names" for things, but that doesn't always mean it's correct and widely known. By all logic, the Blade SR should have been named with some sort of extension of the Blade CP but it wasn't. And why isn't the Blade 400 named Blade CP400 Pro? Nevertheless, when the 120SR arrives, I may get one just for kicks. If it flies like a large mSR, it might be an interesting little heli to try outdoors. I know that on completely calm days, the mSR is a lot of fun outside, but as soon as the slightest breeze comes up, it's toast. Mine was doing fine till I spooked a large flock of sparrows in my tree. When they took off, the turbulence caused the little mSR to go out of control I have the Quark and I'm curious if Eflite managed to build a similar flying heli for less money. Re: Bigger Eflite Blade SR
If I called it a bigger MSR, you would have said it's not an MSR!
And by the way, they do call it an SR - an SR 120!! |
