Walmart Tire Foam!

In continuing our Disintegrating foam dilemna...

I was at Walmart and found some foam squares that seems to be identical to the foam in the pro-line tires. I found a 12" x 12" X 2" square for only $1.97 I decided to buy it.

It seems to be the exact material used in the proline foams!

I realize there will be some work cutting the foam block to fit but that's the fun part....

Hey Entilza,

Get with Johnnyboy. He was looking at the same idea: cutting his own foams. In tha absence of having the foam custom molded or die-cut. I think the best option might be a hot wire cutting technique, same as what I use for my battery cases.

You are welcome to borrow my cutting bow at some point to experiment. All you have to do is grab some more nichrome cutting wire for it (Sig brand) at Hobby Hobby.

Some 1/8" plywood for cutting templates and away you go.
