Kondor models f18

Hey guys,
I'm interested in KMP's f18 hornet pnp with 70mm fan and cf18 hornet pnp "tiger" with 64mm fan......they're priced fairly close, I was wondering if anyone has had any flying time with either?.......thanks

Hey thanks Tex,
They recommend a 14.8v 4s 2200 mah 20c lipo......would a
3S 11.1V 3200mAh LiPo battery do?(I've got one of these)......how much larger than the 4s 2200mah could I realistically go?.....
It has a 45 amp sp.control and 2350kv brushless motor, weighs about 30oz........thanks

I fly it on 4s 3200. I honestly think it would be a dog on only 3s and might not hand launch safely. Tex.

I flew my KMP "Tiger Meet" 70mm F-18 with a 3S 2200 and it was marginal (would not ROG, had to be hand launched)... Plus the CofG was at the aft limit which made it wallow through the sky.. Was told by some fellow modelers that I should make a new battery box further forward and run with a 4S. A new battery box would entail openning up the fuse under the canopy, so for now, she is just hanging in the basement awaiting her turn in the project list.

I have this jet, the stock drive system was garbage, I upgraded it to a YEP 80A ESC and a E-Flite delta-V system and it flies great. I got to the edge of the runway a few weeks ago and the wing hit a tall weed that had not been mowed, cut the end of the wing off, no other damage, looking for a replacement wing at this point...
