Futaba 2.4

I received the 12FGA, 2.4 Gig for Christmas.
It has the 14MZ module setup with G3 Rx.
Tons of programming options.
Still playing with setup and reading, but
do find it to be very versatile. The basic
functions are easy, but there are several advanced
features that I still am getting my head around.

Definitely, a very advanced radio, more than I
need at this point and at my level, but who knows
what the future will bring.

Do like how you can upgrade the firmware as more
comes available, via download and installing into the SD card.

Many years ago now, over 15 years anyway, I purchased an Ace Micro Pro 7000 system...was a couple years before they went out of business, it had EPROM technology. When new updates where released, Ace would send you a free EPROM with the new software installed so you could simply plug in the new software version chip and were good to go. That radio system was years ahead of its time as other vendors are just now using this technology.

That system, MP 7000, still has features that have yet to be implemented into modern systems. Too bad they went out of production.

Ivon, all the best at the contest my friend!
