Methyl Hydrate seems to work really well for cleaning both inside and outside your nitro engine, fuel tank, bearings etc...
use an veriable spray bottle on a high streem setting and watch the fuel, oil and dirt come right off. . but wear gloves, or it will dryout your hands. 1litre bottle in the link for 5bux and I think they also have 4litre bottles for 10bux much cheaper then using brake cleaners - http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en |

WD40 is a good cleaner but please be very careful. I used it on two of my engines that have silicone filled cranks and caused the silicone to swell. I didn't realize this until I started it. The engine was garbage because the silicone fell completely out of the crank and went through the motor.
