Dennis:

Your wife wants to know what the extra $300.00 is on your CC. I looked closer at your room video and noticed at the 26 second mark an interesting item.

Re: Trip to Texas and the SAE Competition

Well, I thought Texas was a lot of sand, but in reality they have the same kinda terrain as Sask or Alberta.

Nice to see parts of the country through eye's of real people, not some advertising company.

BTW: Jim,

Now that is nice, an American on a Canadian site!!

Usually it is reversed, Canadian's on American sites.

(I was about to ask how long you been a member, I have not been a member of this site that long, but just noticed you joined)

How did you find this site Jim?
I found it on RC Universe.

Re: Trip to Texas and the SAE Competition

Yep, there's a lot of rocky soil and Cedar trees here, but I'd still take Maine any day. Just no economy there to speak of any more. Texas has a very strong economy.

I think I've been a member here for 6 to 10 months by now. I don't remember how I found it, but I was looking for RC flyers from way up north. Sometimes I long to hang out with people who are more polite, which I am used to from living for 25 years in Maine, on the Canadian border. Some of my best friends are in or from Canada. What I'd give to live in Aroostook county (far north Maine) forever. Here's a good one; Guess where the more polite people are HERE? Yeah...on the border, they also are from NOT in the USA. LOL

Can't find a pine tree here ANYWHERE, dang it....That just ain't right...

Hey Ron I don't have any problem trying to find the ten gallon hat or the cowboy boots you been bugging about but I draw the line at you suggesting via PM you want to see me in assless chaps. What the hey kinda request is that. I'm beginning to wonder about you.

Re: Trip to Texas and the SAE Competition

Ok a report on today’s events. All the teams had to do their presentation and safety inspection. Many of the teams had to go back a few times to meet the safety requirements. As you will see by the pictures it is CRAZY!!!!! There was no time to bother the teams so I don't know many I will just post the pictures in random order and try and answer any questions you may have.
