IMAC Seminar
Hi folks. I will be hosting an IMAC seminar April 17th from 10am 'till 4pm at Corpus Christi School in Sudbury in preparation for the BIG EVENT (Norhtern Ontario IMAC Challenge) .
This will be a two-part session. Part one will be learning how to read the Aresti symbols (not hard) followed by Part two-judging criteria (everyone starts at a perfect ten remember ). I am charging $20.00 to cover coffee, munchies and lunch, and there will be an NOIC decal given out to each participant as well as your very own practice plane I am also thinking of having my flight sim set up with a lcd projector, and we can do some impromptu judging of each participant just for fun and edification If you are interested, let me know asap so I can have an idea of numbers. Lets have some fun Lee Prevost lprevost_ca@yahoo.ca (705) 522-3550 |

Would this be the place? ( i want to look it up on mapquest to see where it is) http://corpuschristi.scdsb.edu.on.ca/ 811Robinson Drive Sudbury, Ontario Who is your IMAC / Aresti Instructor? Is the seminar venue near the field? What's the chances the field will be "flyable" by that date? Are there motels nearby? If so, which ones? Thanks, Bob

Yep that's the school. You can find just about anything on the net can't you
I don't know if the field will be flyable (probably not) and Myself and Craig (hear that buddy ) are running the show. I am basically doing the same format we saw in Guelph...so if you want to help that would be great Mike There is plenty to do in Sudbury, from going shopping, to doing the racetrack/casino, to great restaurants (I highly recommend 100 Georges-great blues/jazz and food). As always there is Science North, the IMAX, the boardwalk for some fresh air etc... April is usually a little cool but can be beautiful too! For more on Sudbury including lodging see; http://www.sudburytourism.ca/english...vents&show=all It should be fun |

IMAC Seminar
Hi guys. Just to let everyone know that plans are under way and coming along nicely This will be a day of learning and fun. If anyone has a park flyer bring it along and we can fly in the gym too! Unfortunately our field won't be ready (still 3 feet of snow on the ground now ) but the weather should be great for the missus to shop around or gamble your money away
The date is April 17th (Saturday) from ten 'till four with coffee, doughnuts, in the AM and a catered luncheon at 12:30. There will be prizes and simulator flying in the afternoon. What more can you ask for for only $20.00 bucks |
