Formula 560 is great. Tip / don't try to do the whole thing at once as this stuff runs all over the place. I found tacking the canopy in place using this glue and once canopy is firmly in place (next day), I lay the fusalge in such a way that the side seam I am filling is flat. Squeeze it in to fill the seam and wipe a nice bead with a wet finger. Stiffens up in about 1/2 to 1 hr and dries perfectly clear in a day.

I use contact cement, but I have to be extremely careful lest it make a mess.
