LIPO's should be stored at "storage voltage" preferable 3.7-3.8 volts approx. Many experts say they will last longer that way. Some chargers like the cheap accucel 6 etc. have "storage" setting for charging LIPO's.

You can order chargers from ProgressiveRC.com
David Gray gives great service and will ship to Canada. He also will service what he sells; try and find someone else who does that!

Good Luck!

Al

If you don't want to order from china you could get a charger from Adrenaline RC. Unfortunately they only stock the Accucell 8 not the smaller cheaper Accucell 6.

http://www.adrenalinerc.com/Turnigy_...ccucel8150.htm About $100 not sure about shipping cost

Same thing from china
http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...lancer/Charger
about $50 and $30 shipping (don't browse that site to long you might want to buy a whole lot more)

A cell checker is handy to have for a quick check of cell voltages.

Don't forget that the place in Winnipeg is literally buying stuff from hobbyking and reselling it. Turnigy is the house brand of hobbyking.

I have one of these for quickly checking my batteries after a flight.

Well if you buy from hobby king your money goes to an australian guy in Hong Kong. If you by the same item for double the price in Winnepeg the same amount of money goes to Hong Kong and the rest goes to the guy in Winnepeg.

If I was willing to spend over $100 for a charger from a Canadian distributor I would spend the extra cash and get one of these.

you can also buy this which plugs into your balance plug and reads each cell voltage and then total voltage

yes is from HK but other companies have them too
I have a couple of these also. But please note that they are not that accurate but very close. Close enough that I wouldn't worry about it. This is just in case you find a cell to cell variation by maybe up to .01 of a volt won't rally make any real difference. Happy flying .
