fly's like it has a gyro on the elevator. "not set right!"

wag's about 2 to 4 inch up, then down 2 to 4 inch " in a hover "

it seem to get worst when , I add throttle/pitch ,and the longer I hover.

its not bad in a fast forward flight "Cant see it, if it happens or tell if it happens "

this is my trex 600 ,with a thunder tiger 70 ,and 630 mm blades

flew the same with the 600 mm blades

servos are 3 x bls451's

bls351 and gy401

Any thing I should look for ?

That I might have over looked ?

Thank you !

Regards len

Re: tail wag up-down

Typically this is a sign of too low a rotor speed.

Thank Again !

That worked great , I did bring it up a little on my last flight ,but now it up a lot like 3 or 4

degrees from where I started .

Cool ! now Iam going to drill out, the 2 screw's that hold the muffler on. "or should hold it on" so I can wire them in place , and be done with them comming loose.

Take Care

Re: tail wag up-down

You should not have to do anything to keep the muffler screws from coming loose if all is set proper on your heli

The two main causes of loose muffler attachment screws are:

1 - running too lean (too hot)
2 - excessive vibrations

or a combination of both.

Or, if you're using a gasket, best to get rid of it

Thumbs up Re: tail wag up-down

I did have a thick gasket on it, not no more, it blew right apart.
it all seem's fine now , with a thin gasket.
and it was a little lean too.after it warmed up.

Thank you !

1) Blades torquing on the grips can also cause this problem. Make sure your blades are not loose in the grips. It should be snug that the blades move with a some friction. They should not be loose on the grips. Even "snug" is sometimes not enough.

2) Are your blades (and head) properly balanced?

True to a point. But you will find that aluminum gaskets work very well.
