Hi There!
I Have Been Flying Glo And Elec. Planes For Quite A While Now, I Have Become Very Used To The Control Sticks On My Futaba 9c. The Question Is Why Do You Use A Diff. Style Transmitter For Cars And Trucks? Im Sure The Reasons Are All Very Vallid But Am Still Curious. Im Also In The Midst Of Getting A Couple Of Elect. Ones.(e-maxx) For One. And Does Any One Use The Stick Type Transmitter?
Thanks Jim

I still see some people using the stick style transmitters... I use the pistol grip style because I like the look and controls of them... I also use the stick style in one of my trucks...
It is basically personal preference...

They use stick controllers in Europe a lot, not sure why though. Once you are use to something, why change.

I'm used to the plane style as I flew planes before i was into RC cars/trucks. You should get a hold of two-stick tom, he uses these for all his trucks

if ur hands r to small/big for the controller then yes... but usually no.... i have gone 2 full days about (8 hrs both days) running my sailboats with a stick radio... i just prefer the pistol grip... u dont need to many controls with cars/boats... throttle/steering... maybe reverse thats it... with planes u need ailerons, elevators, tails etc etc....
