i wouldnt suggest to go to micro heli with a collective pitch, if ur a begginner, micro heli with collective pitch are more for experiended flyers, i would suggest a blade cx next , then to a 450 size heli after that

Welcome to the addicting world of helis EST! I too started with micro (now it is being flown by Mike here ). After learning the basics, went on to 450 size and I am loving it. Now, I have my new T-Rex 500 to finish (I think I'll stop there for now).
Also SIM is a very good tool. You can fly any heli size at the comfort of your own home while you recuperate. Keep on flying! |

It has very smooth operation & controls, but it's funny you mentioned the Heli SIM because yesterday I was out back BBQing when I figured the wind was dead enough to give it a fly in the back yard:IDEA: Wrong Found out real quick that the Micros should stay indoors when it flew up and behind my yard all the way to the next street behind me,lol I went running (controller in hand) hopped in the Car and hauled ** around the block After explaining the situation to a few of the people behind me I went yard hopping to find it....found it 25mins later Surprisingly all is well the the little Heli and still fly's the same as new |

mcx and msr micros are better in doors, basically any fix pitched should fly indoors, collective pitch u can fly out doors, reason is at about 20 percent throttle on normal flight u have a bit of negitve pitch that the wind wont push around, but if in idle 1 u have lot more negative ptich and harder for the wind to push around, i also have a novus cp and t rex 450 se, luv my t rex she a sweet bird, very smooth and very fast and i do mean fast, i run a 4 cell lipo in it with a bec and man do i have good head speed and longer run time
