Is there anyone in Canada building the Mig 29 from Fiberclassics?

F/C MIG29

Yep, me....... shes about 50% way through construction. The Fiber Classics MIG29 is the most awesome jet model I have seen bar none. Still have to install most of the radio gearand servos etc, turbines (2xTJT3000) pipes, fuel system, detail and paint,
I am not in a hurry on this one...

Nice ship Marty,
I have followed a thread on RC Universe with David Gladwin.
Have you solved the problem with the hydraulic system?

I would love to see this aircraft in front of me.

Roger- The Mig gear has caused concern to some for sure...
Don Kannak from Planes Plus has been listening to F/C MIG 29 customers and working hard along with FiberClassics Germany to redo and update the complex gear ECU set-up concerns and instructions, also send all the Mig29 owners updates.
The common problem with the gear IMHO is caused with air in the hydrualic system which also operates the gear doors, speed brakes, and intake doors. And finding an easy way of bleeding the system.

I personally have not completed the hydrualic set-up yet on my MIG so will remain optimistic till I run into any problems myself.... I honestly do not have any concerns, as I am 100% confident any problem will be overcome 'No Worries' If I have room to transport the MIG 29 I will bring it to 'Bay of Quinte' 03 for all to see this awesome model first hand

Wayne- After almost 30 years in R/C I have accumulated more than a few airplanes and this is just the jets-

Jets in current flying condition total - 3. (AD F-16, ROO, MB339)
Jets in various stages of build or refurbish - 5. ( F/C. Mig 29, Century Jets Mig15, Avonds F-15, Yellow F-4, Byron F-16)

Hey Marty

It loks like desk is bowing under all that weight of the Mig. If I ever find a good deal on one I will buy it.

When is Bay of Quinte this year?

Quinte?

RC_MAN Not sure when exact date of rally will be this year, should be posted soon on club website http://www.reach.net/~bqac

Let me know if you want a F/C MIG 29 kit, I could source one for much less than R.R.P 'No Worries'
Re- desk bending (old desk) actually the Mig is extremely light being made entirely of composite construction, the empty fuz weighs about 6 pounds!!! not bad I guess thats a big reason why this kit is so pricey, that and awesome detail....

Hi All, just noticed this web site listed on RCU.

http://www.uepa.com/content/sections...fault_Main.htm

In the video pane to the right, there's an option to watch one of these Mig in action. Too bad its so small...

Marty, did you ever get the landing gear sorted out for yours?

Kelly

MIG

G'day Kelly, To be honest I have not really worked very much on the MIG for the last six months and still have to install the hydraulic systems.
That said, I do plan on getting it finished for Superman 03...
