Re: goldberg ultimate cowl
If you look online there are some pretty good sources.
Although more expensive than the original plastic, (which tends to crack over time anyway) you have Aeroglass (Steve Weber Products), available from Great Hobbies: http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...d_id=SWPGOL053 Although no international shipping listed, another source is Fiberglass Specialties? http://www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com/catalog.htm Carl Goldberg CG-7 Ultimate Bipe, 10-300 KIT 54", cowl $38.00 CG-7A Ultimate Bipe, cowl (bottom extended to fit muffler $39.00 CG-7B Ultimate Bipe, cowl (bottom extended to fit Slimline Pitts muffler) $39.00 I have used F/S when they displayed at the Toledo Show as I could pick them up there and avoid shipping costs. Even though custom ordered I found theirs tended to have excessive epoxy, off-jointed mold lines and all required a lot of prep work. Not sure if those came out in a hurry....... Would be nice to see some of the Aeroglass products. From what is reported, a better product than F/S and easier to get here in Canada.
