The Glenwood crew put on a great race (par for the course). In addition to the regular huge effort which is required to host a race, a LOT of extra effort was provided by the Glenwood crew due to the "severe weather" conditions.
A+ guys, mother nature threw you a curve ball and you still managed to hit it out of the park!

The local racers and visiting racers were great to race with and hang out with for the weekend. Many new friends were made. There were not as many racers as I imagined there would be (the weather probably scared some away), BUT, the ones that showed up were FAST! Those who missed this race, missed some action packed racing!

It was the first ROAR event that I have attended and I was surprised to see the flexibility that ROAR displayed at this event.

They allowed at least three variances which I have never seen done before at a ROAR event:
- Mamba motors were allowed
- Soft pack LiPo's were allowed
- 8th Scale electric demonstration class
I don't know if the Glenwood crew twisted ROAR's arm or if ROAR has decided to test the waters with these variances....Either way it was nice to see these updates/variance granted to accommodate the racers.

Thanks again!

Pics from this past weekend showing:
- The Glenwood crew prepping the track after the severe weather (before and after)
- Kyle and Brian duking it out in the Truck class (those images were NOT edited in Photoshop, they really were that close!)
- Can it be, mr. clean (John S.) with a dirty car!?!
