I am in woobridge (north of GTA), any nitro heli experts that can help me out tune the engine for max power? It's brand new, but had about 3 tanks through it hovering around and breaking it in.

I'm no expert nor have i had that particular engine but i'm pretty sure that you wont get max power out of it after just three tanks. As a general rule of thumb you should just follow what the instruction manual tells you to do.That being said a good 30% fuel is best for optimum power in most engines.

Re: Need help tuning an OS 55HZ

Start with a good break in as per the instructions. If you have the right pipe and higher nitro fuel then you have to lean it out to the maximum amount allowed by the engine exhaust combination. The engine and pipe design are going to give you a max performance level. The fuel settings should be set for good reliable idle and just slightly rich while in the air so as not to burn the engine up. These settings are different for every engine. Simply work your way toward them each flight.

Re: Need help tuning an OS 55HZ

I've seen the videos but I need an expert ear and eye to find and show me how it supposed to sound, how thick or thin the smoke needs to be and what temps I need to have. I can watch these videos all day long and still won't know if the tune is good or not.

Actually Max just replied and I will probably hook up with him at the end of this week. Thanks for all replies.
