Re: ESC choices

Thanks everyone, he picked up a nice Plush from HobbyKing.

I just bought a align kit from Rotorquest in Toronto, there kit had some nice upgrades to it like metal gear cyclics, the upgraded 500MX and the new style ESC at 70a.

After checking aligns website I didnt see these types of upgrades on there kits maybe their site is not updated yet.

here is the link:
http://www.rotorquest.com/product_in...ducts_id=10981

They have a great deal going on so I ordered one what do you guys think? and any comments on Rotorquest ?

Depends on which model. HK rebrands at least 3 different ESC's under the 'HobbyKing' name:

1) Part no's that end in '-HW'. These are Hobbywing Pentium ESC's and are also sold under the Turnigy Plush name. The Turnigy BESC and Hobbywing programming cards work with these.

2) Part no's starting 'Tz or HKz'. These are the HK Blue Series and are made by ZTW. These are card programmable using the Blue Series card.

3) The 'HK-SS' series are supposedly re-branded Suppo ESC's. A programming card is not available, but they are simple to program anyway.
