Does anyone know much about these engines yet? It sure is pretty. I'm thinking 2 of these on my twin will look good
Price is very good and the weight , holy, I'll be shaving 1/2 a Lb over the TT series.
I can't find much about them ABC,ABN where they're made etc etc????
and what the heck is NT??? This is a new term to me
Thanks

I have been told they are built for JR. I was told buy a supplier that is why the trainer combos that use that engine come with the JR Radios. I that is the case I am certain they would not associate themselves with anything but a top notch engine. In fact I have set up and run several on the trainer packages and they seem to be very good. That being said if I were building a twin I would use the most dependable running engine I could think of and from my experience that would be an OS in a two stroke or OS and Saito in a four stroke.

With a combined one half pound difference in the weight, I'm willing to try them I'd go for the TT but it equals the new OS for weight. I would agree with you if I were building an old war plane or the like but these newer designed twins (with proper setup) will take off and land with one engine out The FX was tested and true but I'm not sure about these AX's. As for JR not associating themselves with junk! I believe they are asoociated with Expert, no?
It's all good
I may just try them, hopefully a few more will chime in.
Thanks

Expert and Kraft and all the other non existent brands were ok in their time they just never kept up with the fast paced growth of the modern radios. Lots of guys flew these radios and for what they used them for they were fine. I know from experience multi engine works best if the two engines are as close to each other as possible in both performance and reliability. OS and Saito have given that to me right out of the box every time. Not so with the other brands of engines. Thought you were looking for others opinions and experiences. Good luck on your project.
