I haven't been on RC Canada for a while do to another project that was just compleated today. The boat is called a Mini Max seaflea; It will be powered by a 9.9 merc outboard engine and should do about 25-30mph.

Looks nice! My dad still has his seaflee he built when he was a teenager, we restored it a few years ago and it's still going. (first pic)

My buddy built the same design that you have Jon, we had them out together a couple years ago. Nice looking boat btw.

Nice looking and brings back old memories. I buit one in the 50's and raced it in Ont. with a 10 Merc and a quicksilver short shaft racing engine. From my recollection it was fast and a lot of fun. What did you use for decking. Mine was 1/8" mahogany spar varnished and I got lots of comments on it at the time.
