Here is a copy of text from one of my other threads. Irvine rocks!

*
Too windy to fly yesterday, so I bench ran a bunch of my engines that I have. Temperature was +8C. My home brew fuel - watered down XP sport. ~ 7% nitro, 18% oil. Here are results:

Super Tigre 75 ring: an old one
APC 12x6 prop, 13,200 rpm

Same fuel, same props, same test stand, same day, same OS#8 plug.

Super Tigre G45 ABC
APC 10x6 - 14,800 rpm
APC 11x6 - 12,400 rpm

OS 46 FX
APC 10x6 - 14,400 rpm
APC 11x6 - 12,000 rpm

GMS 40
APC 10x6 - 14,700 rpm obviously likes to spin up!
APC 11x6 - 11,400 rpm

Irvine 53
APC 10x6 - 15,200 rpm
APC 11x6 - 12,800 rpm
Incredible transition! Sharp and snappy from low low to top end.
