Kalt 30 Baron

Hi all! About 8 or 9 years ago I tried getting into the hobby by picking up a Kalt 30 Baron. I put together as much of it as I could before I had to shelve it for a while (a LONG while). I'd like to get back into the hobby but I don't want to use the Baron anymore since Kalt isn't around. Before I go buying a whole new kit I'd like to get rid of the Baron and put that money towards the new setup. What are these things worth now? Is there much demand for parts?

Heres a picture of it:

The main rotor blades are still sealed in the bag.

Roger That

Hi,

Your best to use Ebay to auction it and you may get up to $125 Can funds if you are lucky. Yours is in Mint condition which helps a lot. More of these

Yours looks like a newer (Still old but emphasis on "newER") version of the Baron.

I had one of the older versions and it flew like a DOG. In those days, I went from Baron to Shuttle and was blown away by the improvement in stability and ease of flight. Todays helis are so much better than the Shuttles of old, so on a comparative scale, You might find the Baron a bit sloppy.

If you are tight on $$, it wont hurt to finish building it and giving it a try, just be forwarned that if you dump it and break something other than the main blades, it may be very difficult to obtain replacement parts.
