For those of you who have been paying attention we are going to move the September 19 Baja race. We had planned to move it to Full Throttle RC in New York State but jason is not available that weekend. We began to hear rumours about an RC track being built specifically for 5th Scale in Keswick Ontario. With a little help from my friends I was able to make contact with them and went out to Keswick to see what they had built.
It is a nice wide track that features 2 150ft straight aways. It is a loose packed surface with a few rolly jums. Looking at the trees you would think there would be a lot of blnd spots but the sight lines are good!
We are pleased to announce that the GLORCS BAJA Race #3 will be held at Juiced RC in Keswick Ontario, September 19, 2009. There will be a limited open practice on the Friday and all racing will be done on the Saturday. Your frist class will be $35 second will be $20. Camping is allowed on scene and if you are so inclined there are local hotels to stay in. I hope to have all that info shortly.
As usual we will be running 5B and 5T classes. These will be open classes except you must run the stock high flow muffler! No tuned pipes are allowed. Mainly for noise but also for marshall safety. We will have house transponders but we ask if you have a PT to bring it.
