Looking good!

Seeing as this is a military scheme I've decided to pull the smoke pump out. They do offer a very nice thunderbirds scheme and that scheme would mean smoke is a must.
I pulled the tanks to inspect them and wire tie the internals. I also replumbed the fwd smoke tanks to carry kero so they will empty in the main saddle tanks. The extra capacity may come in handy especially if I fly it with the ordnance on.

The turbine rails are removable which makes getting the tanks out a breeze. While the main tanks were out I could inspect the quality of glue joints.

Thanks Angus, it does get big in a hurry.
I have about two more afternoons of work I'm guessing.

Re: BVM PNP F-16 / Kingtech K-140G

One thing I'm always picky about is the pilot. Not just the fact that there should be one (it's a sin to omit one IMHO) but he should look right and be sized correctly.
The keen eye will notice in my earlier pics that the seat is too low as it comes.
I spent some time today getting it repositioned and getting the pilot sitting correctly....or close to it. For example even though the seat is reclined the pilot doesn't lounge back unless he's pulling 8 G's!

That's the spirit Sean, love it,
I can spend a week to fit the pilot, it makes such a difference when he's positioned correctly

Looks great Sean! Big difference for sure.

Where did you get that pilot or did it come with?
