I'm so close to getting one of these. I have a 70mm version of the A4 and it flies very nice. The 90mm version would fly just as well.

Re: Jepe A4

The link posted talks about amp draws of less than 40A... How is this possible? It also is very "anti-china" even though JEPE has many aircraft based on FLY FLY foamies. It would be interesting to know what the total bill would be for all parts neede to complete the model. They also put down foam models as toys although they don't use retracts (or landing gear).
The JEPE website in the Netherlands is much less biased.

Re: Jepe A4

Just got off the phone with Morris at Ductedfans. His A4 is not quite available yet. He said they are waiting for some final pieces and then kits will be up for sale. Jepe had an accident at there factory and sold off the moulds. Ductedfans now have some of the moulds are kitting from pieces made in the USA and Holland. TFModels, out of china, have moulds too and are selling them also. It looks like you can get it painted with TFModels and Morris is selling his un-painted. Both kits come retract ready. Morris likes the A4 for winter flying. It will skim along the snow, on top of the retract covers, for take-off. The inlets are high up with no snow intake. Mike, this would be perfect for where I've seen you fly.
