the circuit jc indoor dirt rc track in quebec is having their annual indurance race on nov 23. its a 5 hour indurance race... you can have a minimum of 3 or a maximum of 4 members... each member can drive their own car (so max 4 cars)... no restrictions on driving time between the drivers on the team... each team marshalls their own car, it though this would be wierd last time but it actually works really well... here is a translated link to the website for info and registration link

What class? 2wd or 4wd? Sounds like fun!

Step Pins or Bowties were the tire of choice (most ran Step Pins). The track is really fun to race at and there is good traction there. They are really friendly there and it being in a greenhouse you can wear a T shirt in the middle of winter. There are a few pics and videos from when we went there on my blog (www.johnnyboy.ca) if you want a preview.

There are a few fast guys there too...

here is the panoramic photo of the track. I wonder why the straight was put in front of the driver's stand. Carpets on jumps will lessen the work load throughout the season.

when it was like that at Sid's there were many accidents with cars at full tilt hitting other cars, and people. up close peripheral vision is at a disadvantage. still looks fun though.

I prefer it like that. I find technical jumps harder to judge/time when they are in front of the stand. Looking down on the car in the air makes it harder to gauge where the car is in the air (to me at least). The new layout looks good. I think I might be working that weekend though...gotta check.
