Re: Lipo chargers-simplicty
Several of us at our club have iCharger. Mine is the 208b. It does need a power supply, and if you have big lipos, you will need a big power supply. My charger came from Great Hobbies, and the power supply from www.epbuddy.com.
The charger has a memory feature that you can program, and can charge many types of batteries. I bought it so I can parallel charge. Charging 3 lipos at the same time is important to me. I can charge my batteries in the time it takes to have breakfast, and pack my truck. Ask away, there are lots of guys here with tons of other ideas. Daren

Re: Lipo chargers-simplicty
I have the icharger 206b, no prob with it yet. It will do lipo IR check hot wire cutting, brushed motor break in, lipo, life, li-ion, PB, Ni-xx and regenerative discharge (puts power back into your car battery).

Re: Lipo chargers-simplicty
Agree with the above. Hobby King has chargers from 50 watss to 400 watts and $25 to 100+ and they pretty much have the same menu. When you learn the trick of lithium chemistry all being under one main menu and selecting in the user menu, then all the rest, #cells, charge rate, etc. Saving in memory slots also is really easy.

Re: Lipo chargers-simplicty
I have two of the ECO 6-10 from HK They work very well and I can charge two 5 cell 5000 ma packs at the same time as well as the little indoor 160ma single cells. Around $35 bucks now, if I remember.
