Not likely but

Go to any race track most racers will give out advice by the boatload if they aren't busy.
there are no stupid questions
most of us that have been doing this for years will gladly show off our knowledge at any time...
Ask questions here too but you will get many answers that may not agree so you have to filter the answers. ask specific questions to get specific answers

Being new this year i`ve found that everyone has been a huge help online and at the track. xxfile is right, if you have any question`s you can use the search at the top of your screen or just ask what you want to know and yes get to the point.
I also found googling your engine tuning question`s will help, there`s lot`s of site`s that i`ve found that have given me a rough idea on what to do and helped me out !!

another idea is to check with your local hobby shop. alot of hobby shops offer a tuning lesson when you purchase a nitro rc car.
